A fair, transparent refund policy for the ₹1,499 registration fee.

What the fee is for

• The registration/service fee for Saunjdya is ₹1,499, paid one time.
• The fee is paid for access to the matrimonial service — creation and activation of a verified profile, valid for one year from activation.
• A successful payment gives you access to the service. It does not guarantee that you will find a life partner, receive responses from other members, or that a marriage will result. Please also read our Disclaimer.

When a refund applies

Each situation is different, so refund eligibility depends on what actually happened with the payment and the service:

• Failed transaction: if money was deducted from your account but your registration/profile was not successfully created because of a technical or payment failure, the amount is eligible for refund/reversal after verification with our payment records and the payment gateway. In many such cases the gateway or bank auto-reverses the amount on its own.
• Duplicate payment: if the same registration was accidentally paid for more than once, the extra payment(s) will be refunded after verification. Saunjdya's payment system is designed to use one payment for one registration only, so a duplicate charge is refundable once confirmed.
• Successful registration / service activated: once your profile has been successfully created and activated, the service you paid for has been delivered. From that point a refund is not automatic; requests are considered case by case in genuine circumstances at Saunjdya's reasonable discretion and as required by applicable law.
• User-requested cancellation: covered by our Cancellation Policy. Cancelling after the service is activated does not automatically create a refund entitlement.
• Fraudulent or disputed transaction: if you believe a payment was made from your account without authorisation, contact us immediately (and your bank, as they advise). We will verify the transaction with the payment gateway and cooperate with the investigation before any refund decision.
• Not finding a match: a refund is not payable simply because a suitable match was not found or another member did not respond — the fee pays for access to the service, not for a guaranteed outcome.
• Profile removed for false information or misconduct: as stated in our Terms & Conditions, if a profile is removed because it was built on false information or the account violated our policies, the fee is not refundable.

How refunds are processed

• Approved refunds are processed back to the original payment method wherever technically possible, through the payment gateway.
• Processing time depends on the payment gateway and the banking system — typically several working days after approval; your bank may take additional time to reflect the credit.
• We will confirm by email (or SMS to your registered mobile) when a refund has been initiated.

How to request a refund

Send your request to saunjdya@gmail.com (contact details are on our Contact Us page) with the following details:

• Your full name
• Your registered mobile number
• Your email address (if applicable)
• Transaction/reference ID of the payment
• Date of payment
• Reason for the request

Our team will verify the payment against our records and the payment gateway and reply with the outcome. Providing the correct transaction ID speeds this up considerably.
