What Saunjdya does — and what it honestly cannot promise.

Saunjdya (सौंजड़्या) is a platform that facilitates matrimonial discovery: it helps people find and connect with potentially suitable profiles. The final decisions — whom to talk to, whom to meet, and whom to marry — are always made by members and their families. This page explains the limits of what the platform can promise, in plain language.

No Guarantee of Marriage

Saunjdya does not and cannot guarantee:

• Marriage or engagement
• Successful communication with any particular member
• Compatibility between any two people
• A response from another user to your request or messages
• The accuracy of claims made by another person about themselves

User Responsibility

As a member, you are responsible for:

• The truthfulness of the information you provide for your profile
• Verifying the identity, background and claims of other users before taking any important step
• Conducting appropriate due diligence before making personal, financial or matrimonial decisions
• Keeping your password, OTPs and account credentials confidential — Saunjdya will never ask you for your password
• Exercising normal caution when communicating with people you have not met

Profile Information

Saunjdya takes reasonable measures to maintain platform quality — profiles are registered with the assistance of local agents, mobile numbers are OTP-verified, and an ID record (type and last 4 digits) is noted at registration. Even so, Saunjdya cannot guarantee that every piece of user-provided information is completely accurate, current or independently verified unless explicitly stated. Treat profile information as a starting point for your own family's conversations and checks, not as a substitute for them.

• Never send money to another member on the basis of online communication alone — no genuine match needs your money.
• Never share OTPs, passwords, bank details or card numbers with anyone, on or off the platform.
• Do not ignore suspicious behaviour — requests for money, inconsistent stories, refusal to meet or video-call, or pressure to move quickly are warning signs.
• Meet safely: first meetings are best in public places, with family involved — as is our tradition in matrimonial matters.
• Report it: use the Report or Block options on the platform, or write to saunjdya@gmail.com, so our team can review and act on suspicious profiles or activity.

Third-Party Services

Saunjdya relies on third-party providers for certain functions — payment processing, OTP/SMS delivery, hosting and similar technical services. Those services operate under their own terms and policies, and interruptions on their side can affect the platform.

Website Availability

We work to keep Saunjdya available and functioning smoothly, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free or permanently available service. Maintenance, technical faults or circumstances beyond our control may cause temporary interruption.

Limitation of Responsibility

Saunjdya is a platform that facilitates matrimonial discovery between adults. Members and their families make their own decisions regarding communication, meetings, relationships and marriage, and remain responsible for those decisions and for their interactions with other members, on and off the platform. To the extent permitted by applicable law, Saunjdya's responsibility is limited to providing the platform service with reasonable care as described in our Terms & Conditions. Nothing on this page excludes responsibilities that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
