Cancelling a digital service — what applies and what doesn't.
Last Updated: 4 September 2026No physical "returns"
Saunjdya provides a digital matrimonial service — profile registration, discovery and matching — not a physical product. A traditional "product return" therefore does not apply. What can apply is cancellation of the service, described below.
Cancellation by you
- You may request cancellation of your registration or membership where applicable — by using Deactivate or Delete my data in your account Settings, through your agent, or by writing to us.
- Cancellation does not automatically mean a refund is due. Whether any amount is refundable is determined by our Refund Policy and applicable law.
- Once a profile has been successfully activated or the service has been used, cancellation may not automatically qualify for a refund — the service paid for has been delivered.
- If you cancel before the service is activated (for example, a payment went through but the profile was never created), that situation is treated as a failed/unused transaction under the Refund Policy.
Suspension or termination by Saunjdya
- Saunjdya may suspend or terminate an account for misuse of the platform, fraudulent activity, abusive or disrespectful behaviour towards other members, providing false information, violation of our Terms & Conditions or other policies, or other legitimate reasons.
- If an account is suspended or terminated because of the user's own misconduct, this does not create a refund entitlement.
- Where reasonably possible, we will inform the member of the action taken on their account.
What happens after cancellation
- Deactivation pauses all profile visibility; you can reactivate within your validity period.
- Deletion permanently removes your profile, photographs, requests and messages, as described in the Privacy Policy.
- Payment records may be retained where required for accounting and legal purposes.
How to request cancellation
Write to saunjdya@gmail.com from your registered contact details (contact details are on our Contact Us page), mentioning your registered mobile number and User ID. Members can also use the self-service options in Settings or ask their agent for help.
